It's was a very long trip and a very long way, but so worthwhile. The archaeo sites in the Marquesas are truly thrilling. Indeed the Marquesas are truly thrilling! One day - I hope in the next five years - I'll get to Easter Island and I'll see for myself the continuation of the Marquesan habit of building giant humanoid stone figures.
