TMA book re-bound?

Has anyone had their copy of TMA fixed after the pages fell out?

Mine is fine, but I bought my friend Julie a copy from Glastonbury on her 40th birthday and it's one of the 'dodgy glue copies. She doesn't want another copy because it's special to her, but it's a shame the pages fall out everytime the book opens.

I wonder if I took it to a bookbiders they could sort it.

Anyone tried?

Bookbinders are magicians. If the glued pages are simply falling out then there's no damage to the binding edge, so they should be able to fix it.

The only thing to worry about is that TMA was printed with the binding in mind, photos printed edge to edge across pages for example, with very tight inner margins in the gazetteer.

If you had a traditional stitched bind done, you may have trouble reading and seeing the print near the spine, so it would probably have to be re-glued.

Think you'd probably have to have it re-glued or summat because the pages are usually all single sheets. Might be possible and worth a try though.
