...does anyone know anything about megaliths in New Zealand? Ive been reading a few bits on the web.......very interesting!

The NZ archaeo community is bedevilled by a small group of "Celtic " nazis , talking bollocks if you come across any of their stuff , which suggests without any evidence , that the indigenous people did not build the monuments etc , pinches of salt recommended .

Pilgrim may know about such places. He has recently returned from living there. And I'd be very interested, too, as I am in the very early stages of perhaps plotting a trip down there some time in the next year...

There are megaliths in NZ!!!
Damit, I was the a couple of years ago and obviously missed them completely :o(
Ah well just another good reason to re-visit that beautiful country.
