OK - from what I've seen of the trailer this wil be a pile of poo!

http://imdb.com/title/tt0443649/

Did they have pyramids!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm waiting for the bit at the end when he gets out an M80 to shoot the dinosaurs

; )

It's from the same crew that did Independence Day. So yea, it'll be big and dumb and fun nonetheless. I haven't heard anything in the way of any claims that the film is prehistorically accurate... no dinosaurs, tho.

Just as a matter of conjecture, what if there were pyramids that early? There certainly have been thousands of years of human history where stone age hunter gatherers have encountered more technological cultures. Even within our lifetimes... although I'd doubt very much that there are any lost tribes out there anymore.

Not Pyramids, but isn't the Sphinx supposed to be dated to around that time (water erosion etc)?

I can see a bit of father / son bonding coming here

My teenage son will love this

Just the sort of film we can enjoy together in a afternoon of mindless male bonding film entertainment

Saw that trailer t'other day, whilst waiting for the new Helena Bonham Carter film to start. It had me quite nodding in approval, though I must stress my taste in films is a bit crude, as I'll stand by the declaration that Starship Troopers is one of the finest films ever made. But it didn't have mammoths in it.

100,00BC has apparently got Mammoths in it, so it's got to be worth a watch, no matter how cheesey the plot :)
