Further to my Yule pictures, below is a link to a report and photos from my Imbolc celebrations. They started with a morning moonrise shining through my local hedge. Then it was down to Glastonbury to witness the sunrise on the Tor. Straight afterwards I went to the White Spring for the ritual there, before going across the road to the Chalice Well ritual, ending with the annual pilgrimage to Bride’s Mound. Finally it was on to Avebury for a druid ritual there in the Southern Inner Circle.

Sniggers and chuckles

A belated Happy Imbolc, your photos capture people being happy and gathering together for a welcome to the morning sunrise, and ceremonies at the Chalice Well in Glastonbury - may the tradition of festival and belief always be a part of the human interaction with the natural world ;)

Thank you for the photos

Are you planning to post for all eight festivals?

Dave

I thought that was most interesting - thanks for posting the link. Also I'd not heard of 'Bride's Mound' so I have been reading a bit about that. I'm not much one for ceremonies (of any sort) but in a way I wish I was more so. Anyway, I think you should definitely give this forum a heads-up when you post your next pictures.

Went to visit Thornborough Henges today, and on the track to the central henge found evidence Spring is indeed on it's way
