Rhiannon for her substantial part in creating the biggest and best British site-related folklore database on the WWW.
She is the very model of a modern antiquarian.

Finally
Many thanks to Mr Cope for continuing to dip his hand into his pocket and providing us with this lovely website. Also thanks to Holes and the Eds for being.

Excellent choices fitz, I smiled to see the Blue Mermaid Goddess again - I believe she has quietly been taken in from the cold by some kind soul. Am sure she is being well taken care of though.
I shall look out for Richard Bradley's book, thanks for the tip.

Totally agree about Rhiannon - inspirational stuff; also a word for the prolific Paulus in the folk-lore category.

Best overall telly prog for me has got to be: Earth: the Power of the Planet.

Have a merry night - here's to 2008!

Nice one Fitz, I can't argue with nominating the amazing photography of Ken Williams! I must get my camera fixed... have been taking snaps on my mobile, and it shows!

I shall just point out more strange megalith-quadraped coincidence for those who missed it first time round: http://www.themodernantiquarian.com/post/64323/images/witchs_stone.html

Golden Boots awards to all those who've got cold and wet over the year standing up for our heritage at Tara, Nine Ladies etc. You have nothing to lose but your fences!

Happy new year to all Gregorian calendar fans out there!
