My apologies for the number of my recent posts that include me 'holding up stones'. At the time (Spring 2003) I had just come into possession of my first tripod/camera with timer combo and was a bit over-enthusiastic!
At least you can see how big things are!

You are following in a good tradition... Julian Cope has a lot of himself and stones together in TMA book, I like the one where you are imitating a stone, we have'nt had any funny photo stone competitions for a while ;)

Hello M. The Menhir du Plessis -Gamat (long axis) may have a winter major standstill orientation., depending on the horizon etc but 223 degrees (within a degree for various epochs ) is the bearing for that latitude . A 10 figure gps grid for those beauties would be good .
