We were at Cong stone circles yesterday and when we arrived there was a chap at the main circle. We chatted briefly and then he asked if I knew "how they worked"? If this person was anyone from here I apologise for the look of utter disbelief that must have passed across my face. Also, I hope you didn't take too much offence when I replied, "No. They don't do anything. They're just big lumps of rock stuck in the ground."
