Not heard from you folks for a couple of days now - have the flood waters actually reached the village?

Hopefully you're safe, but what about the restructuring of the Devil's Quoits? Any ideas whether they've been affected by the flooding?

We're OK, and have managed to stay dry.

I have no idea if the Quoits are affected - though I imagine they have been. My kids who live in a house 100 ms away from the Quoits, at the back of the lake (fed by the River Windrush) by which the Quoits sit, had water lapping up their drive last Sunday and Monday - but they've all buggered off on holiday now so I haven't been over to Stanton! The rivers round here are still raging torrents and the fields are all still flooded. Last night's rain hasn't helped.
