Twe’re a grand day fitz, definitely up there with tutha RAMs! Carvings were bleedin stunning, company was engaging, knowledgeable & fun, weather couldn’t have been better. Mr Wolfy played a blinder….

Yes indeed Fitz , pity you missed it . Mr and Mrs Wolf looked after us chickens even when corn snakes and lemurs appeared . Having seen Townhead 1 my system can recover after a year of holding breath .

yay!

it was a lovely day, started the evening before really, when despite the absence of Orange mobile phone masts in the area a few of us managed to meet up for a pre-RAM gossip.

The beautiful weather turned up as requested and all in all time-wise it must have been the longest RAM ever! I think we finally left Kirkcudbright at about 7pm, with fish & chips on the way home it just rounded the weekend off perfectly.

I'll blog about it at some point no doubt (probably elsewhere).

Great to see everyone old & new, and here's to the next one when/wherever it may be!

A fine showcase of Galloway rock art presented in grand fashion by Brian and Suzanne. Many thanks for the stimulating and knowledgable company, sunny weather and most beautiful surroundings. May your cups be brightly ringed and your rossettes unique.
