Anyone ever heard of snow or ice being used as a medium for the construction of ceremonial sites? The Inuit and Eskimo peoples build communal igloos that serve for group festivities, but I have not heard of snow and ice being used to create anything resembling stone circles.
Every year I build a snow cave in the backyard. No formal laws of worship or anything. But it seems to service some compulsion I have to take this frozen manna and heap it up and hollow it out and create a space.
