Hi all,
just to let you know that there is a new series called 'Earthworks' beginning on Thursday 25/5/06 at 9.30 p.m. on BBC Northern Ireland (channel 973 on the sky network) Looks quite interesting if you are of a history/archaeology persuasion and is in four parts.

I didn't mention this because I wasn't sure if it was available outside of NI/Ireland. Doesn't look brilliant, but one episode sounds like it could be about TMAy type stuff. From the trailers most of it looks a bit more modern.

I'll be watching anyway, just in case it does have some surprises.

Pretty crappy really. It was a bit like a sampler program with five minutes spent on each item. Fair enough, it got loads covered, but not very well.

As for their expert showing his favourite sites ... he did Beaghmore last night and his first sentence was factually wrong! Gah! Makes ya blood boil!
