Full-time Landscape Antiquarian

Just think of this folks,
If everyone that contributes to this site (882),
Donated £1 a week to a fund, that would be £45864 or approx €68796 per annum.
We could have our own full-time landscape antiquarian trawling the landscapes of Ireland and Britain updating hourly on the sites they visit!
Just an idea that came to me today stuck in my wee cubicle looking at meaningless figures!

Too be honest the sub could be a lot cheaper coz im sure we could sort it so the salary being paid could be tax free and so would be worth a lot more than say €68000 after tax would be ,approx for arguments sake, €45000. Plus the landscape antiquarian would prob have the rights to newspaper columns, books etc they could work on.

I'm completely bemused. I thought we had a publicly funded body that visited all these ancient sites and kept them safe for us.

No, I don't want a full time Lamdscape Antiquarian trawling the country and spoon feeding us. The fun is in the finding for ourselves.

Looks like i cant give up the day job so, couldnt have afforded to take the pay cut anyway
