buy the book?

close

Hi all,
My first time to this site. I am thrilled to have found it, being an exceeding curious stonehag myself. However, I can't find any detailed information about The Modern Antiquarian book or a place to buy it on the site. From the site map I clicked the "more info" link under the book's image. Hoping to read if detailed instructions on how to get to these sites are included, but that was not in there. Then I clicked on the Head Heritage Merchandiser link under the book, then on the books link at the top of their home page. Only three items were listed there and The Mod Antiquarian was not for sale there. Isn't this a bit odd?
I am planning another trip to the UK soon, so would like to find out if this book will really be a useable guide for me to find sites and if I must go to Amazon to buy it.
I look forward to exploring this site further and chatting in the forums with my fellow stoners.

Hi Bellybones,

Don't worry about the multiple postings. I think we've all done it at one time or another.

There's a link to information about the Modern Antiquarian book at the top of all the pages on this site (in yellow pinky red background). That takes you to this web page...

Despite the claim that you can buy a copy of the book from Head Heritage, I must admit I couldn't find any trace of it.

Unless anyone else has any bright ideas I'd suggest you look on Amazon or failing that Ebay.

Sorry. Not very helpful.

I have seen copies in bookshops recently, so you may get lucky whe you arrive in the UK.
It is a good guide - and coz it was written by a woosy hippy you will find that it is easier than you think to get to the places you want to get to. =;o)

as ever, Sussex Stationers have it in stock for £12.99 , I think..the cheapest around...if you're in Sussex, of course.....
