Passed by this way yesterday, totally unplanned so no camera etc. I was struck by how different the site looked with the undergrowth at it's lowest point. Last time I was here, the trees and hedges were in full bloom, and the stones couldn't be seen from the road at all. Yesterday, the circle could be seen 'properly' in its setting. A much more pleasurable experience.
