What a nice looking stone. I must have walked pretty close by this on the way to the nab a few years back. I had no idea it was there, I do now and it looks like I missed a good one. Nice place for a walk, your weather looks better than when I was there.
Despite the trail and quad bikes and even if no archaeology the panorama was superb. Didn't make it to the Nab and hillfort but will. The henge found by the Ice and Fire project in '17 is nearby, twixt the high gorse I mentioned and a pond to the south in an area of burnt heather, but nothing to see on the ground so I didn't take a pic. A good piece of post-dig restoration. I feel some fieldwalking coming on..
