Interesting one this. Between the inner ring (bottom right) and the barrows and small cross dyke is another very faint ring. Does anyone know if Cunnington and Colt-Hoare mentioned this in their excavations?

Wow that is top class. Noting new features from the air recalls those pioneer days just after the First World War.
Love this. Is the drone easy to use?
Thanks! Yes Gladman, I think with the growing use of drones there will probably be a lot more exciting things being discovered at sites all over the country that just weren't visible from the ground, or unless you had access to a small plane.
I think they're relatively easy to use Ryaner, but only if you have someone who knows what they're doing (in this case my son, I'm pretty rubbish with technology). We shot these for a book that's just been published (The Making of Prehistoric Wiltshire).
