We saw these small carvings for the first time in 1999. They are set on outcrop rock in the heather on the right site of a track from Coldmartin Loughs Main to the triangulation pilar, just before the wire fence.

ATTENTION: The gridposition -and therefore the map too- is not correct and should have read: NU01353541, the main grid for various rock art locations along of what is left of the ridge in and outside the plantation.
The site lies 1 km NNE of Wrangham Farm, N of Doddington Moor and is accesible off the minor road that links the Devil's Causeway with the A611. Ask farmer David Grey of Wrangham Farm for permission to walk his land.

We visited this unusual rock art site in May 2002. If you look for variations to the great abstract rock art tradition, this is the right place to be. Not only the horse-like design made up of > 100 cups in line, but also encircled cups with radiates will trigger your imagination. Don't forget to ask permission from the farmer (mr Lance Strother) of Fowberry Moor Farm to walk his land. Park your car outside the farm grounds along the wall and walk-up to the farm. Cars are always in the way here! On your way back to the farm gate you'll find Fowberry Cairn at the left side of the road just before the gate in the wooded triangle.
