A little gem! Perched on Glebe Cliff with stunning coastal views over Dunderhole Point on the South West Coast Path. Explore the 13th century remains of Tintagel Castle or just watch the wild seas crash over the rocks below as the nearby village of Tintagel bustles with activity.

Boscastle Youth Hostel (Youth Hostel, Boscastle)

A unique, cosy retreat where the river meets the sea. In a National Trust harbour, this was originally a stable for horses that pulled boats ashore. On the South West Coast Path the superb coastal scenery of the area provides excellent walking country and lovers of literature will appreciate the local Thomas Hardy connections.

Born in Cornwall 1966.

Main interests include Hillforts and barrows. I try to cover mainly Cornish sites but about five times a year get to visit Dorset where my wifes family live. Fairly keen on folklore and earth mysteries etc.
