| Visited 18.5.11 Just in front of Gaulstown Portal Tomb is this cist. It has probably the largest capstone I have ever seen on a cist – approximately 2 metres x 1.5 metres – supported at both ends on a small mound of grass covered stones. As with the tomb it is in its own little wooded area – a lovely setting. |
