Old Kinnernie was found as a fluke as I made my way home from Corsindae at Midmar. The easiest directions are head east from the village of Sauchen, on the A944, and take the second minor road south. I was heading north and it was by luck that I spotted it. By that time the old leg had had enough so a fotie from the side of the road had to suffice. The cairn is 14 meters wide by 11/2 meters tall. However field clearance has been added. Good location tho! Visited 11/2/2010.
