| On the ferry to Gavrinis, as we approached the southern end of the island of Gavrinis, I looked left to see the silhouette of some of the stones of the Er Lannic cromlech poking up. God, I wish the guy driving the boat could have taken us round a bit closer. But one doesn't like to ask the French for favours, does one? |
