St David's Head Camp (Cliff Fort) by moss In the valley below St.David's Camp are lines of stones presumed to be 'celtic field' systems, this is the most obvious one.

Trevor Bloom in his 'History of Solva' says "other walls can be seen, and lines of large stones leading down into the valley - the traces of boundaries of 'celtic fields (though it is possible that they are older)." I took photos of other boundaries, and what looks like small enclosures. These of course can be of any age, but given the heather and gorse terrain, they probably heark back to iron age, and were probably used as cattle fences. moss Posted by moss
