Grey Stone (Standing Stone / Menhir) by so_sesquipedalian The plaque says- 'this is a replica of The Greystone. This was an ancient boundry stone separating the manors of Leeds and Headingly cum Burley. It stood in Burley Road near the junction with Hyde Park and Woodsley Road. According to legens it was hurled from Giant's Hill on the other side of the river Aire at Armley'
