Stripple Stones

Circle henge

Stripple Stones (Circle henge) by RoyReed On private land just to the south of Hawk's Tor on Bodmin Moor stands the Stripple Stones, the only stone circle in Cornwall to be in a henge (a bank and ditch). Originally there were 28 stones of which 15 remain. Some of these are fallen, but most were re-erected during a recent restoration.

Don't suppose your friends fancy having a go at the Buttern Hill Stone Circle on Dartmoor? That would really be a cracker to restore as well. This looks great... well worth coming back to see again. GLADMAN Posted by GLADMAN
