So you've made it at last!
Isn't it just the most fantastic site: it really sends a shiver up your spine.
Absolutely fabulous spot.
I'm off to Skye in the last week of June and will probably revisit Dun Grugaig again: the magnetism is so strong.

For another 'stunner' of an excavated broch have a look at Dun Fiadhairt on the peninsula a few miles northwest of Dunvegan.

Would have struggled to find it without the 'ignore the stile' tip.... you get the feeling this is one for locals only, so to speak. Funnily enough, I went straight from here to Dun Fiadhairt and spent so long there I ended up sleeping in the parking spot. GLADMAN Posted by GLADMAN
