The sheer scale of this broch is quite overwhelming... as was the weather, to be fair. This is the entrance, obviously.

Reading Les's notes, seems like a lot of rubble from excavations, hiding intact stonework. A broch on the cusp, would love to see it stabilised, even rebuilt before it falls, which Canmore thinks inevitable. A very fine example, ta for the pix.	Posted by spencer 11th June 2019ce
