Menlough (Portal Tomb) by ryaner Looking east over the collapsed northern sidestone that covers the floor of the chamber, out through the two portals. One of those sites that are barely worth visiting and exceedingly difficult to photograph, but bloodymindedly you do anyway.

You bothered to make the effort: well done for visiting and recording a site probably added to TMA without any details or pix quite some time ago. Nothing wrong with those stones - how big are they? - if they weren't in a copse, overgrown and had a vista people may well be saying 'nice site', imo spencer Posted by spencer

Yeh Spencer, you're right, it is a nice site in itself. The two standing portals are both 1.55 metres tall and the southern sidestone is 3.25 metres long. It's quite substantial but lost in the under and overgrowth. ryaner Posted by ryaner

Cheers...sad, hope one day the place gets cleared up. Anyway, hope you go on scouring TMA and putting faces to the names with no posts : ) spencer Posted by spencer
