I really like the grainy quality of the light in these shots, it's very 1970s. Like Pertwee-era outtakes (I'm meaning this in a good way, honestly!). thesweetcheat Posted by thesweetcheat

Good description, like looking at old postcards. Definitely one of my favourite sites mainly because of the wonderful colours in the stones, the deceptive complexity of the site and the loneliness generated being trapped between the motorway and the stream. (Hope you had wellies on!) Posted by costaexpress

Him indoors fiddles with the foties..as it were. Walking boots on..weren't too boggy. I should have mentioned the lovely farmer woman at the house; she looked to be busy but seemed pleased we were visiting and gave us a brief history of the site. She was obviously proud of the place. Was good here, blew away some cobwebs. Hope all well. Posted by carol27

She was lovely when Postie and I went, she even apologised for not strimming the thistles. thesweetcheat Posted by thesweetcheat
