Very groovy shot. There is a strange tall, natural rock pillar tucked away in the shadow just to the left of the crag in centre of your shot.

Forty years ago, me and three pals found the scattered wreck of a WW2 aircraft just beyond the light at the right centre of your shot. It is a wide, flattish section of peaty pools, deep bog and rocky outcrops with a lot of boulder... just beyond the top of Glenshant Hill. Pathless and almost unwalkable. There was a leather flight helmet protruding from the peat. We didn't lift it. Memories...

I wonder if the plane will be preserved in the peat. A bog body of the future.
