Bennachie

Bennachie by thelonious 17/10/2018 - Bennachie - Astronomical Twilight. Looking over to Mither Tap from Oxen Craig. The glow in the far distance is from Aberdeen. Different feel to the hill at this time. Not a sound to be heard. I like the dark. Clear sky this evening, many stars, Milky Way and a shiny half moon. Starting to get a little cold now.

What a beautiful photo. The only time I climbed Mither Tap the mist and fog descended and I could see barely 50 yards so I've always wondered what the view must be like on a clear day (or night). ironstone Posted by ironstone

Thanks Les, that's kind. Always got a head torch with me, handy for dark hills and chambered cairns :-) thelonious Posted by thelonious
