Nae spiral there drewbhoy! That is a double disc and z-rod. My OH comes from Dronley and we used to love to take this wee back road from Kettins over to Newtyle. Her mum (born in Tealing) referred to this stone as the "Wolfie Stone" as the animal above the z-rod was thought to be a Wolf (in this part of the world "ie" is added to the end of many words like "hoosie", "burdie"and "roadie").
It used to be a bit easier to see the carvings... some clearer shots here...
