Another site I spotted on the O/S map and therefore another site to visit!
There are certainly a lot of sites in this part of the world so there must have been a lot going on in days of old. Probably more than is going on in the area today?
This site was one of the trickiest to visit today. The Barrow could be seen from the road but I was unable to find a way into the field through the high hedgerow.
The Barrow was approximately 1 metre high x 20 metres across – covered in long grass.
Not a lot to see although there must be access for a closer look from somewhere.
