Stone Circle

Fieldnotes

This circle was removed in the 1960's. It used to be situated on the slope of a hill. The hill is today overgrown with trees. Posted by MNilsson

Welcome M. The 1960s seem to have been a fatal decade for some Cork/Kerry circles - thousands of years of prehistory, history and then, hey, a grand open field. I've just had a glance at the plan in O'Nuallain and it would appear to have been an eleven stone MSC with an off-centre internal boulder. gjrk Posted by gjrk
