Gaythorn Plain Ring Cairn View all content for Gaythorn Plain

Wild place. I was up here in March watching snow storms rushing down the Eden valley. I read somewhere that this was originally three concentric circles. There are also various stone lines up here. Some unusual weathering on several of the stones. Very interesting and atmospheric place. Castle Folds is clearly visible to the south.
