Long zoom on the dark bulk of Arenig Fach, with Moel Hebog and pointy Moelwyn Mawr to the left. Viewpoint is Cadair Bronwen in the Berwyns.

Difficult to be precise on these long zooms SC. Guess you're probably getting better with each trrip you make whereas my mind begins to fade to grey over time. However I'd suggest here you have Moelwyns Bach and Mawr to the left with Cnicht to the immediate right assuming this is from Bronwen. (Might even be Siabod far right). There are hut circles on each if you want to investigate further, of course. Needless to say this comment will self destruct if you happen to agree.	Posted by GLADMAN 9th February 2014ce
The Moel Hebog/Moelwyn Mawr ID was based on this: http://www.viewfinderpanoramas.org/panoramas/WAL/BERWYN.GIF which admittedly is the view from Berwyn rather than Bronwen, so the viewpoint is slightly further to the SE than the pic above. It doesn't show Cnicht (which I would very much like to see, as I recently learned it was my Dad's favourite mountain, which I had no idea about). I think you're right about Siabod on the far right. Do you think then that Moelwyn Bach is blocking Moel Hebog from here? (the elevation is lower that Berwyn of course).	Posted by thesweetcheat 9th February 2014ce
Now there's a thing... reckon I stand corrected. Just read an early 90's log note from Hebog where I state I can see Bronwen.... it therefore follows that the reverse is true and there's a slither of Hebog just rising above Moelwyn Mawr's shoulder. If so the intervisibility of these monuments is amazing. Get yourself to Cnicht. Top mountain with some exceptional upland lakes on the plateau. Llyn yr Adar also apparently has a cist, although I wasn't aware at the time.	Posted by GLADMAN 9th February 2014ce
Cool, thanks :) So you can see both Hebog with Moelwyn Mawr in front, excellent. Postie and I do need you to produce a Gladman-in-a-box that we can take out with us though, to help with hill identification.
