No Lubin, this is approaching Brockhill Stream from the east, that is north of Gripper's Hill. I visited the settlements you mention looking for the sadly underwhelming cist.



There are 7 cairns on that side , Jeremy Butler , Dartmoor Atlas of Antiquities , Volume Four , The Southeast map 57. One is a possible ring cairn and there are 2 very close together. I would say you are correct and these are cairns in the photo. Hope that is helpful.


Thanks Lubin. That does sound as if these are some of the cairns Crossing noted in the area.
