As for camping/cooking, it's a scheduled ancient monument and any damage would be a criminal offence (lighting fires and any digging is definitely out). The legislation on Scheduled Ancient Monuments doesn't prohibit camping, but there's no automatic right to "wild camp" - not that it looks very wild :) - in England so you would need the landowner's permission. https://www.campsites.co.uk/gu[...]d-camping-in-england-and-wales
From the fieldnotes it doesn't actually sound like somewhere I'd want to camp mind you, surrounded by houses, frequented by dog walkers and strewn with dogshit. Mmmm.
