Maybe, but there was a lovely storytelling element to it. It sort of reminded me of H.G.Wells - Outline of History, it is nice to go back and romp through an easy telling of our history....
I didn't totally dislike it moss but when the hype tells you that Sam will 'reveal' a remarkable story of invasion in Britain spanning thousands of years - and it's nothing we didn't already know, it can be rather disappointing.
