When you see it in context, all 9 deliberately daubed (10! *hangs head in shame*)and just one with lettering on it, the biblical connection does look quite likely, especially if the last character is a 5. What else could it indicate? And of course almost no religious people would dream of doing this but on the other hand extreme religion and nutjobs often correspond.
