Of course it would. And yet, and yet, when you stood back and looked, all you'd have would be a completely fake circle. With the nickname The Fakery. At least having markers or anything other than sarsens causes people to engage with the site intellectually rather than Disneyfually.

The last time I was at the Sanctuary there was a notice board with a painting of a set of timber circles about 12ft high on it. They have NO idea how high those posts really were, just basing it on their diameter. Total speculation, a fake and totally misleading. How Disney was that!
