Partly building a broch at the quarry in Caithness and then knocking it down seems to be the experiment, but it looks interesting though at the tip of Scotland, and it has been done before by them ....http://www.caithnessarchaeology.org.uk/fieldwork2005.html

Interestingly they ask for different types of volunteers to attend, not all heavy builders work then!

"Volunteers of all ages are invited to take part; no experience is required, tools and training will be provided, and it’s free to participate. Artists, photographers, film-makers and art students will also be welcomed should they choose to come and take inspiration from the creation of an imposing and beautiful structure."
