Am considering a daytrip to Penmaenmawr, but the trains are a bit tricksy. The earliest I can arrive at Penmaenmawr station is 11:20, the last time I can be back there to get home (the same day anyway) is 16:14, so not a very long time.
Advices requested then: is this long enough to get up to the circles, have a mooch and then - ideally anyway - get up to the summit of Tal y Fan and back? I'm pretty sure I'd have long enough to get to the circles, but not sure about fitting the mountain in as well. By my reckoning it would be less than 10 miles all told, but I don't know what the terrain is like. Any help appreciated as ever.
