Worth a visit into Callander whilst you're there...St Kessog's mound is marked on the plaque as a "motte & bailey"....yet proclaims to be where St Kessog preached from....the time lapse for the saint being there and the introduction of motte & bailey are chonologically wrong.....but as has been mentioned on another thread.....M&B may have been based on a much earlier design and not introduced in Norman times.
