Hmm... not sure I’d use ‘girls’ and 'god bless ‘em' here Mr S ;-) but, as you and I are probably roughly from the same generation, I think I can see where you’re coming from.

It would be good to get back on topic though... any more thoughts about speed limits and pedestrian crossings? Better car park surface? There are disabled vistors to Avebury, and pushing a wheelchair over the rough surface of the main car park (not to mention the distance from there to the centre of the Henge) can't be very easy.


Well there was certainly no intention of demeaning the ladies in any way and I'm sure they understood that.

As for geting back on topic well where do you start and stop? A path around the stones for wheelchairs?!!!!!
