Thats a great website! Handy too as Im off to Pembrokeshire in a few weeks

Hey I saw some spirals there...

;)

Yep , not much rock art in Wales but we are fortunate to have the rare spirals and extremely rare zig zags .Interestingly Newgrange and Fourknocks are a max of 10 miles from the sea then it's a simple boat journey to Barclodiad . A lot of the spirals are close to the coast particularly the Irish Sea .

Impressive art it is too. I would much prefer a little bit of the best than loads of moderate art. I couldn't get into Barclodiad-y-Gawres when I was there. It was strange cuz there were about 30 people there all gathered around the entrance but we couldnt get in. I bet all of them would have prefered to pay a small fee and get to see it if they had someone manning the door. Ah well, at least its a good excuse to visit again :)

The key is available at a nearby shop, I bet someone in the thirty had it but didnt want to share
