Hey up,

Yeah the Bradstone is still safe....I think the murmurs in Wirksworth a coupla years back were related to the quarry wranglings at Stanton...something to do with how many years a quarry can remain dormant and then be re-opened without to much hassle.

Gardom's Edge is a must see and wth Gibbet Moor and Barbrook/Big Moor just around the corner you can fit quite alot into a day.

The Bradstone is a good half hour's drive from the Eastern Moors but if you find yourself in that area then there's the graves at Minning Low and Green Low, caves at Harboro Rocks and Longcliffe Crags, Ivet Low, Gallows Low, the Roystone Valley.
