| Well, I did the long walk about Avebury at the w/e: Avebury -> Windmill Hill -> Longstones -> Silbury -> West Kennet longbarrow -> The Sanctuary -> WK avenue -> Avebury I only got lost twice and one of those was caused by panic at approaching horses. A couple of things arose: Was it just me or is it a bit difficult to work out what's going on at Windmill hill? Has the Beckhampton barrow been excavated?
