| I notice that the recent photo posted by Chance of this barrow shows a metal star atop of it. I posted a shot of a barrow on the Fore Down (Cardinham) range on Bodmin Moor a couple of years ago with the same star http://www.themodernantiquaria[...]715/images/cardinham_moor.html So I take it these were erected by the military to identify such things...does anybody know when?
