I disagree. Give me the best paint and brushes in the world and I still wouldn't be able to paint the Mona Lisa and Michael Schumacher has a better chance of winning a race in a Ford Escort than I do.
However, I do agree that without the right tools in the first place the chances of producing a masterpiece is probably nearer zero (silver purses and sow ear's etc etc).
